BSc Programme Overview

  • Level: Undergraduate
  • Length:  4 years (including Preparatory year)
    2 internship semesters, 6 academic semesters
  • Intakes: January & July
  • Credit System: European Credit Transfer System
  • Authorised by the Swiss Federal Authorities

The BSc programme builds a solid professional foundation in the preparatory year, then it focuses on the administration and management skills in the degree years. A problem-based learning approach allows students to develop analytical, innovative management skills for leadership positions in the international hospitality and service industries. The Bsc degree last intake was in August 2013.

Semester Abroad Options

Semester abroad options are available to students in semester 3 or 4, allowing them to transfer to one of six renowned institutions in the Laureate International University network.

 *Glion Institute of Higher Education is our sister school which is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) in the USA. It is not part of the federally authorised UAS, but the preparatory program is given on the Glion campus of this institution.
