On June 1st, Les Roches-Gruyère University of Applied Sciences held a graduation ceremony in Bulle for its first cohort of 28 students, composed of 25 nationalities, from the 2008 intake.
Les Roches-Gruyère University of Applied Sciences is based on two campuses (Bulle and Bluche) and recognised since 2008 by Swiss authorities. It is the first and only private Swiss University of Applied Sciences in hospitality management that offers the chance to study international hospitality management or food, beverage and operations management.
The University of Applied Sciences meets Bologna standards and also provides two recognised research centres in hospitality and in tourism.The aim of the University is to educate students in the spirit of excellence and to prepare them for leadership positions within the hospitality industry.

Les Roches-Gruyère University of Applied Sciences’ high level of education in hospitality management has already shown concrete results: 84% of the students had received a job offer by their graduation day.
Graduates’ families were attending the ceremony on the Bulle campus and they celebrated their children’s bright future over cocktails.
