LRG University of Applied Sciences offers undergraduate and graduate programmes.
UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES
Students have the possibility to study for a Bachelor of Science which proposes two different specialisations depending on the students' area of interest. Student can choose the more generic specialisation called:

The bachelor of Science is a 4 year programme which is comprised of a non degree preparatory year including one taught semester and one semester in internship, and 3 years of studies including 5 taught semesters and one semester in internship.
Depending on pathway chosen, students will be based on different campuses. Those choosing the specialisation in International Hospitality Management will be on the Glion campus of Glion Institute of Higher Education* for the preparatory year and then will be based on our Bulle campus for the bachelor programme.
Those choosing the specialisation pathway in Food, Beverage and Operations Management will be based on our Bluche campus for the preparatory years as well as the entire duration of the bachelor degree.
Semester abroad options are available to students in semester 3 or 4, allowing them to transfer to one of five renowned institutions in the Laureate International University network.
*Glion Institute of Higher Education is our sister school which is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) in the USA. It is not part of the federally authorised UAS, but the preparatory program is given on the Glion campus of this institution.
GRADUATE PROGRAMME
LRG also offers a Master of Advanced Studies in Hospitality Management (on our Bulle campus) to students who already have a bachelor degree in a field related to the hospitality industry as well as 3 years of work experience.
Learning Outcomes
The aim of the program is to provide qualified professionals who have work experience to develop their managerial competences and knowledge in order to become more effective managers in international business.
At the end of the program the student will be able to:
- Lead and motivate individuals, teams and organizations within a diverse and multicultural global business environment;
- Critically analyze and question knowledge, theories and beliefs in functional disciplines such as marketing, finance, operations, and HR;
- Apply practical knowledge of sound industry practices to exploit strategic opportunities, manage effectively, and solve complex business problems;
- Critically analyze issues in technology management and innovation and their relevance for organizational success and competitive advantage;
- Adapt and innovate to solve business problems and cope with unforeseen events.

One final summative paper to integrate the modules presented after the end of classes and seeks to develop new ideas. Has preparatory input about current issues and questions. It is an independent study concept.
